Glee Season 3 Episodes 1-14

I realize I've been lacking in my blog posts this season for Glee, and I hope you will accept my sincerest apologies. If you follow me on twitter you'll know that I've been watching Glee every week that it's on. So it's not because I haven't been watching Glee because I have, but I've been busy with other things and can get easily distracted.

As I've not updated this blog about Glee for this season I will only say how much I adore this season. It will take me way too long to post about each episode and recap each episode as I've done in the past, but I do love this season so far, it's better than season 2 to say the least.

I adore Kurt and Blaine as always and my top favorite episode of the season will always be "The First Time" for obvious reasons. I'm also way over the whole Finn/Rachel and Will/Emma thing. I realize that Kurt and Blaine are my favorite couple, but their relationship has been fairly stable, they've had their disputes, which is to be expected. But the other two couples have been all over the place since the end of season 1 and it's kind of sickening. I don't mind Santana and Brittany, although I still prefer Brittany with Artie, but I'm not as invested in them as Kurt and Blaine.

Also, the lastest episode had me in tears and although, I'm not a huge Karofsky fan, I'm liking seeing more of his story and understanding what he's gone through, to lead up to the moment that happens in "On My Way." I realize that some of you haven't seen it so I'll leave it there. I don't like the cliff-hanger at the end with Quinn, mainly because at that point we had to wait 7 weeks for a new episode, now it's like 3 or 4 from the time I post this. Although, I've seen spoiler pics from their shooting of recent episodes that will soon be aired.

So overall I love this season. I will list my favorites below from this season:

Glee 2.21-May 17, 2011

Glee's episode this week was entitled, "Funeral." Jean, Sue's sister passes away and Sue becomes overcome with grief. And is even more hell-bent on destroying the Glee Club with the help of Terri.

Jesse comes aboard to help the Glee Club with setlist and preparations for Nationals by having auditions to be the star of the Glee Club and center all performances around that one individual.

Finn and Kurt offer their condolences to Sue and Sue wonders how come she's still standing and the sweetest person in the world isn't. Because of her sister's death she kicked Becky off the Cheerios. Sue tells the boys that she can't plan a funeral and she won't. Finn and Kurt offer the services of the Glee Club. Jesse shuts down the idea, while Finn tells him that since he's the leader of the Glee Club they will do this.

Finn and Kurt help clean out Sue's sister's room at the nursing home, discovering that Willy Wonka is her sister's favorite movie, they theme the funeral in that fashion and sing "Pure Imagination," Jean's favorite song while a video montage of her life plays. Before they sing Sue reads a lovely Eulogy that she can't finish and Mr. Schue comes up and finishes reading it for her. At the point, I'm bawling, my friend is also bawling. It was just so emotional and touching.

Sue thanks them. The funeral's over and Finn breaks up with Quinn. New Directions are doing original songs for Nationals, everyone hates Jesse. Sue wishes Mr. Schue good luck on Nationals after what the glee club did for her sister. Terri is moving to Miami to become Manager of the new Sheets and Things. Episode over.

It was really good, and I liked the Sue I saw and love how Kurt and Finn volunteered their services. Good for them!

Glee 2.20-May 10, 2011

This episode's entitled "Prom Queen" and is one of my favorites, tying in with "Original Song". Loads of Kurt and Blaine stuff makes for an awesome episode.

Here we go! Apparently, the band Figgins wants for Prom cancels and now New Directions have to preform at Prom. Mercedes doesn't have a date and is upset by this not, because she needs a man but because she wants to feel like Cinderella for one night. Rachel doesn't have a date so she has Mercedes join her on her "Prom on a Budget" and asks Sam to go to and they help him out because from last episode he's ubber poor. He agrees and says it would be an honor.

Kurt asks Blaine to Prom, in which Blaine has some issues. We finally get some backstory on Blaine's character and he tells Kurt that at his old school there was a Sadie Hawkins dance and he had just come out and he asked one of his friends, the only other openly gay student at his school to go to the dance. While they were waiting for the other guys' dad to pick them up 3 guys beat the living crap out of them. :(

Blaine tells Kurt he's crazy about him and agrees to go to prom with him.

Jesse St. James *bleh* returns and he joins Rachel, Mercedes and Sam to the Prom. Finn gets jealous. I don't like Jesse and didn't like to see his return. There's so much stuff that happens. Karofsky wins Prom King while with an over number of write-in votes for the first time Kurt wins Prom queen. He runs out and Blaine follows him, he does end up accepting it. But he realized that the bullying had been stopped, because they had all just been thinking it. Blaine and Kurt have helped each other out in different ways without the actually realizing it, which makes them the perfect couple and the most realistic. After he accepts, the King and Queen tradition is to have the first dance, Karofsky can't and walks off leaving Kurt alone, Blaine then comes out and asks to have this dance!! And they have their first dance while Mercedes and Santana sing Dancing Queen. They have pictures taken and it was epic!!

Quinn slaps Rachel blaming her for everything, Jesse and Finn get in a fight over Rachel while Blaine sings, "I'm not Going to Teach Your Boyfriend How to Dance With You." *swoon*

Okay, so this is mostly about the awesomeness that is Kurt and Blaine. Sue me. :D

Glee 2.18-April 26, 2011

So, I loved this past week's episode of Glee. I would like to point out that the Super Bowl episode ran during an allotted hour slot and ended up 51 minutes, while this episode entitled Born this Way, was allotted a 90 minute slot and was only 57 minutes long (on iTunes you have to take off the 2 or so minutes of commercials at the end).

Alrighty, loads to talk about. This is the episode where Santana figures out the Karofsky is gay because she sees him checking out Sam's butt, and so she gets her evil little brain working because she wants Kurt to transfer back to McKinley because she thinks they'll have a better chance at Nationals. She confronts Karofsky and they start some anti-bully club called the "Bully Whips" to stop bullying to make the school safe for Kurt to come back. However, she spills her little secret to Karofsky and now they're "fake" dating to cover up they're gay. (everyone's disgusted by it me included) Making an excuse to reform Karofsky from his bullying habits.

Kurt does transfer back, but gets the truth out of Karofsky about what Santana's doing, which repulses and impresses Kurt. The Blaine comes to the school with the Warblers to sing goodbye to Kurt "Somewhere Only We Know" the second time I've cried during a glee episode and performance.

On the Rachel side of things, she's considering getting a nose job after Finn's clumsy dancing breaks her nose. She wants Quinn's nose, but Lauren who's now running for prom queen finds the truth about Quinn that her nose is actually a nose job and she use to look like Lauren. Kurt on the other hand with the help of Puck have a "Barbra-vention" at the mall and break out in a flash mob to Duck Sauce's "Barbra Streisand" song. It's EPIC!

By the end everyone's comfortable with themselves with the exception of Santana and Karofsky who sit in the audience while the rest of the Glee club performs "Born This Way" by Lady Gaga with shirts that have a word or phrase that describes a flaw about them that they're proud of. Kurt, Mercedes, and Tina take the leads on this. It was an Epically Amazing performances and close to being one of my favorite episodes, targeting how you should accept yourself for everything you are including the things you don't like about yourself.

I felt that the plot was amazing, (there should have been more Kurt and Blaine, but I guess that's just me) and the storyline is something that everyone can relate to. There's just no words to express my sentiments on how extraordinarily amazing this episode was.

See you next week for the "Rumours" episode!!
